WORKSHOPS AND AUDITIONS
Barrington Stage Company offers workshops, field trips, facility tours, and auditions for any Berkshire student interested in learning and experiencing more about theater-making and performance.
MUSICAL THEATER AUDITION WORKSHOP FOR YOUTH
ages 12-19
Participants will perform in a masterclass-style mock audition with Barrington Stage Company artists.

During the workshop, students will...
-perform a 32-bar (less than 1 min.) musical theatre excerpt with piano accompaniment (bring your sheet music!)
-Interpret and perform acting sides
-Learn a short dance routine
Participants will receive SUPPORTIVE feedback, enhancing their confidence and inspiration for future auditions!

Join us for a group warm-up followed by vocal auditions, scheduled by arrival.
- Bring a 32-bar cut of a musical theatre song (less than 1 min.).
-A live piano accompanist will be provided; please bring sheet music in the appropriate key.
- Sides will be available for reading.
-No movement or dance required
Bring a water bottle and get ready for some fun!
